Terms of Service
Last updated October 18, 2026
1. Service and agency agreement
DutySync is powered by Digital Footprint Agency. These terms describe authorized use of its fleet inspection and property management service. A signed agency agreement governs pricing, support, retention and other agency-specific obligations and takes precedence where it conflicts with these terms.
2. Invitation-only accounts
Accounts are created through authorized administrator invitations; public signup is not available. Existing users may request password recovery. You must use your own authorized account, protect your credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access to your agency administrator. Agency administrators are responsible for granting appropriate access and disabling access when it is no longer needed.
3. Authorized use
Use DutySync only for lawful agency operations and within your assigned permissions. Do not attempt unauthorized access, compromise security, submit malicious content, misrepresent inspection results, or alter records you are not authorized to manage. You must have permission to upload the information and media you provide.
4. Agency records
Your agency retains its rights to the records and media it submits. Digital Footprint Agency may process those records to operate, administer and support the service. Your agency is responsible for accuracy, lawful collection, retention schedules, disclosure obligations, legal holds and approved data classification. Handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Safety and compliance
DutySync supports documentation and accountability; it does not replace physical inspections, qualified maintenance, supervisory judgment, agency policy or legal advice. An inspection status is not a guarantee that a vehicle or item is safe. Alerts do not guarantee that every risk or deadline will be identified. Agencies must act on defects and enforce their own safety requirements. No CJIS certification, evidentiary admissibility or specific regulatory compliance is promised by these terms.
6. Availability and recovery
Availability, backup coverage, recovery commitments and support response times are governed by the agency’s agreement. Service interruptions may occur. Agencies should establish continuity procedures and verify that their recovery arrangements cover both records and uploaded media.
7. Intellectual property
DutySync branding, software and related materials are owned by Digital Footprint Agency or their respective licensors. Access does not transfer ownership of the service. Agency badges and uploaded materials remain subject to their owners’ rights. © 2026 Digital Footprint Agency. All rights reserved.
8. Suspension, liability and changes
Unauthorized or unsafe use may result in access suspension, subject to applicable law and the agency agreement. These terms may be updated from time to time; the version posted here applies to ongoing use. Warranties, liability limits, termination rights, dispute resolution and governing law are defined in the agency's service agreement, which governs where it addresses these matters.
